Bournemouth Jubilee 2 Day: Temple Leads after Bridges Time Penalty

Tom Temple (Primera-Teamjobs) leads the Bournemouth Jubilee Wheelers 2 Day after controversy enveloped stage 2. New junior 25 mile record holder, Zach Bridges (Ribble Cycling) set the fastest time on the 9.5 mile road bike time trial, the 17 year clocking 20:07 on the rolling circuit north of Wimborne in Dorset. It was an impressive time but Bridges had missed his official start time, incurring a 1:45 penalty. Temple finished 34 seconds in arrears but leads the overall by 5 seconds from Jack Freeman (Meudon Sovereign Pedal Heaven). Prologue hill climb victor, George Skinner (Norwood Paragon) slips to third 6 secs down. Stage 3, a 60 mile race on the Lulworth circuit will decide the result.
