Ward takes maximum points with emphatic win
New Forest Cycling Club held a 25 mile TT on the revised P304 course in unpredictable weather conditions on Tuesday night. The normally well attended event had a limited field of participants due to the highly unpredictable weather that was being experienced in the region. Stewart Ward led the field home with a personal best on the course of 1:01:14 ahead of the improving Lyndon Thompson in 1:03:03. Stewart paced his effort around the course and steadily built his lead throughout the event. “I learnt a lot from my experience at the Chrono event on the Tour of Cambridge”, Stewart commented, “I felt more in control and confident of holding my effort, my numbers were good today”.
