The Wheels of Local Government move Slower than the Chain Gang!

The happy cheese chain gang is a fast, blast of a training ride. The regular Saturday morning run sorts the men from the boys as it snakes its way around the New Forest. However there have been problems lately, a series of punctures have spoilt the gang’s fun. Potholes on the road south of Ringwood are to blame. An email was summarily dispatched to Hampshire County Council pointing out the poor condition of the highway. A few weeks later the Council responded “The enquiry you raised has been inspected and does require action.Defects of this nature are added to our contractors work programme and are normally processed within two months.Please note, this could take longer depending on the severity of the issue and availability of resource which could be affected by severe weather events”
