Shaw Sidelined by Shoulder Injury

A training accident has robbed Julia Shaw of the opportunity of riding for Great Britain at the Grand Prix De Nations in France this weekend. The forty six year old sustained Shoulder ligament damage that may require surgery. The New Forest based commomwealth games bronze medalist is already back on the turbo but the injury will take time to heal so racing is out of the question. A disappointed Shaw said “ I am so sad to be missing my final race of the season, the Grand Prix de Nations is my favourite race of all time, Riding for GB would have been a bit of consolation for not going to the worlds. I was really keen to give it one last blast”
