On a day when the club said goodbye to one of its greatest servants, the mood at the club 10 was a little sombre. Post race at the Stocks Inn, President Peter Warhurst, showing inspired leadership, put his hand in his pocket and bought the beers, the mood was lightened and the talk turned to "times" and what might have been "had i not got held up at that junction" Cyclists are a resilient lot. The sun was setting, dear old Bob would have loved it.

Nice one ED, will be odd to think of Bob gone, he was synonymous with the BJW. Sorry we weren't part of the cortege peloton but had formed a 4 strong group "off the back"-meeting at roundabout whilst the ride preceded us.
