Team Captain, Luke Nolan added
Our target races have always been the National A and B circuit races. Unfortunately we haven't been able to get in to the tour series races this season, so we are incredibly determined to get some good results this season to stake a claim for some invitations next year. We have started pretty well with a few wins already in the Elite races, Lee Valley, Abergavenny and a Masters Road Race alongside several top 3 finishes, most notably with a 2nd at the Spring Archer Circuit Race and then a 2nd at the Karbona Circuit Race. Castle Combe Easter Classic is always a fun race to start the summer criterium season off. We also have our targets set on the Bristol GP, Cirencester Nocturne and obviously our riders regional championships, both criterium and on the road. We are hoping to make the trip over to Belgium in the middle of the summer for a block of races to really sharpen up our skills, so the team is really looking forward to that. It has been a really fun start to this season, probably the most fun I have had since I started racing. Six of us were in the south of Spain at the end of January for a hard weeks worth of hills and long miles which has really helped us start the season well. A few others have been away since then to get their fitness ready for the summer months. Everyone is really down to earth and we have realised we can do so much better collectively if we work together. Lee Valley, Hillingdon and Abergavenny results seem to suggest that everyone has clicked! We have done really well so far but the best part is the enjoyment of it. It's a great bunch here and I have no doubt we will continue the season as we started."
