Primera-TeamJobs, Winning, the Measure of Success!

Primera-Teamjobs held their official team launch on Thursday (2nd) in the opulent surroundings of Compton Acres near Poole. Looking to build on the experience of last year and with additional backing from Breeze Volkswagen & Ellis Jones Solicitors the team have already notched up 4 wins in 2017. Charismatic team manager & co-sponsor, Jason Gault brings enthusiasm, logistical know how and organisational skill to the squad. Gault's experience in recruitment and personnel as managing director of TeamJobs Recruitment will no doubt help him deal with the hopes & expectations of the younger characters in the team.
As Gault presents the riders his enthusiasm is clear, who wouldn't want to work for him? Personal development, teamwork, respect, work ethic, life skills, all are mentioned in Gault's rallying call but ultimately it is about results. Winning regional road races, featuring in the local circuit races at Thruxton and Goodwood, team wins, will be how Gault measures success:
"It has to be about results absolutely, enjoyment and bonding is all very well but if we cannot promote the success element we will not keep our best riders or attract others. To gain momentum from last year we want to be more organised, for us to create the PR to attract sponsors and move forward, we have got to get results, we are absolutely results driven.Having said that we are realistic in where we are at present."

Roadman/Tester,Matt Downie, 19, leads the team along with promising juniors, Ed Hatfield, track specialist Alex Collins & 21 year old T J Key, they should prove a force on local roads. Michael Bradbury joins from Ride 24/7, with Paul Jones & Ben Keightley riding time trials. Gault and Julian Lockwood will bring maturity and council to the group.
This year the team welcome Ellis Jones Solicitors as additional team sponsors, Ellis Jones are a local company who represent cyclists who have been involved in accidents.

David McWilliam of Ellis Jones is himself a very keen cyclist who takes on challenges such as riding from Rome to Home in support of the Steve Bernard Foundation, a charity Primera-Sports are supporters of. McWilliam jumped at the opportunity to support the team , having followed the team riders over the past few years he is keen to help build riders cycling careers.

Primera-Teamjobs will be riding Specialized bikes, with kit sponsors Endura, Sidi, Met Helmets and Salice eyewear making sure the team get noticed.
