British Cycling Announces Team for Aviva Tour of Britain

Press Release
BRITISH CYCLING ANNOUNCES TEAM FOR AVIVA TOUR OF BRITAIN

British Cycling has announced the team of six young riders who will represent Great Britain at the Aviva Tour of Britain which takes place 6th – 13th September.

The team is comprised of three British Cycling Olympic Senior Academy riders Scott Davies, Gabz Cullaigh and Ollie Wood, along with Tao Geoghegan Hart, Alex Peters and Hugh Carthy.

Team manager Keith Lambert said: “Tao and Hugh showed some great performances at the USA Pro Challenge recently with them finishing first and second respectively in the Best Young Rider Standings. Riding in a team with them plus Alex who, along with Tao, has recently been signed as a stagiare for Team Sky will be a real boost for the Academy riders and a good learning opportunity for them. I’m looking forward to seeing how they get on against the professional riders in the race.”
