Points Title for Raybould at National Junior Champs


Rebecca Raybould (Poole Wheelers) won the Womens points title at the National Youth & Junior Track Championships in Manchester. Raybould won three of the eight sprints, finishing ahead of Lucy Shaw (Matrix Fitness Developement) & Abbi Dentus (Team Velo Sport) in the Junior race. Raybould, from Weymouth is on the Olympic Developement Programme and has just returned from the U23 European track championships in Athens, rides the Junior scratch race today (Thurs 6th). Former Poole Wheeler, Alistair Fielding now riding for Black Line won the silver medal in the Junior male Sprint and Charley Calvert (Bournemouth Arrow) just missed out on a bronze medal in the U16 pursuit final finishing 4th after two great rides. Calvert rides again on Thursday in the U16 scratch race along with AlexJolliffe (Team Terminator) in the Junior Keirin.
