The fourth Primera Cycle & Tri Expo attracted over seven thousand five hundred visitors to the Bournemouth International Centre. A plethora of world renowned bike brands were in attendance, all bringing their 2015 models to showcase the very latest models available including Cannondale, Spercialized, Cervelo, Focus, Lapierre, Lynskey,Kuota,Look and Storck. The idea behind the free-entry Expo is to give the Dorset cycling community the chance to see the latest models, meet other riders, local clubs & ride organisers. Primera proprietor Bill Temple says: “The whole team at Primera are passionate cyclists and we have seen cycling grow from a fringe sport to a mainstream sport that everyone knows about, a lot of this is down to the great success in British Cycling. Two Tour de France wins in successive years thanks to Chris Froome & Sir Bradley Wiggins contributed to the popularity of the sport in the UK. Primera is run by cyclists for cyclists and we want to continue to serve the cycling community by putting on events like the Cycle & Tri Expo that gives back to the community that supports us” Rumours were rife about the new line up for next seasons Primera Road Team, all “Local Riders, Local Races” can say is, it is a mix of experience and exciting young talent, both boys & girls.
