Primera Sports to Sponsor UK-Biking Race Team.

Press Release
UK-Biking is very pleased to announce that Primera Sports are once again sponsoring the UK-Biking cycling team in 2014.
In addition to this Primera will be providing additional support for a new 12 man sponsored squad within the team, who will be fully kitted out in a newly designed kit. This squad will bring together competitive racers from both the UK-Biking team and the other Primera supported teams that have been run in the past, to produce a unified race team for the shop.
In addition to the sponsored squad, UK-Biking, with the support of Primera, will continue to run their club team, who will continue to train and race in their current white and blue kit.
As a result the whole team will be renamed the Primera UK-Biking Race Team going forward and will also continue to receive support from their other sponsors Hill & Son Ford, IW Price and Partners and Field International.
UK-Biking Team Principal Richard Lang said “The support from Primera over the past 2 years has been excellent, so having increased involvement from them this year to launch the new sponsored squad is fantastic. There has been 2 or 3 different Primera supported teams running along-side each other over the last couple of years, even though many of the riders both train and race together, so it’s going to be great to be able to all race as part of the same team this year.”
Primera Manager Alex Croucher said "We have had a great couple of years working with UK-Biking and we are very much looking forward to building on this with the new sponsored squad".

The sponsored rider lineup is:
Pete Beilby (road)
Ali Bunting (road)
Simon Merritt (road)
Andrew Syme (road)
Jordan Frampton (road)
Ben Keightley (road, tt, tri)
Matt Hill (mtb & road)
Josh Hooper (mtb & road)
Sam Shepherd (mtb & road)
Simon Lesser (mtb)
Chris Walker (mtb)
Ash James (mtb)
Dave Pusey (mtb & road)
Darren Shepherd (mtb)

In addition to the team news, UK-Biking, with the help of DSDG, will be announcing some more local road races very soon, which will also be supported by Primera. HERE
