More sunshine and more riders. This weeks club 10, blessed with blue skies and some warm sun, attracted a healthy field of 17 riders to the Monkey World course. Poole Wheelers superstar Gary Dighton made the short trip west to pick up the win in an excellent 22:10. The battle for club points saw Steve Pink again narrowly edge out David Butt by 6 seconds (23:51 to 23:57) and taking 2nd and 3rd overall in the process.
We welcomed a host of visitors, especially from Tri Purbeck and good to see young Bethan Whittall has joined the club no doubt to punish herself on a more regular basis. She now has an official 10 time with which to start the relentless pursuit of PBs that we all know and love so well!
Next Tuesday is the first 25 of the season. Sign on is on Gatemore Road (the turning north opposite the Red Lion Inn at Winfrith).
