A smaller than usual field for the BJW 42KM Time Trial at Wool

In the interests of your own safety
Cycling time trials and the event promoters strongly advise you to wear a HARD SHELL HELMET
that meets an internationally accepted safety standard. In accordance with Regulation 15 ALL JUNIOR competitors must wear hard shell helmets. It is recommended that A WORKING REAR LIGHT, either flashing or constant, is fitted to the machine in a position visible to following road users and is active whilst the machine is in use. Observers may be in attendance along the course. Riders must not make u-turns in the vicinity of the start or finish

After finishing please proceed to HQ where the results will be displayed and your number exchanged for a tea or coffee
Please do not wear cleats or shoe plates in the building.

The start is 2 miles from the HQ look out for racing riders coming in opposite direction as you ride to the start.
Notes for your safety
1/ Special care is needed passing through Wool each time in view of parked vehicles.
2/ Caution approaching left turn at West Lulworth as it is acute with poor camber.
3/ Road from East Holme Junction at Wool is 900 and drain covers are right on turn .
(EXTRA CARE IN WET).
4/ There are several points in Wool that the road narrows to slow traffic down, there is room
for bike and car but remember keep tight left and give way if needed.
5/ Sharp left bend at Weld Arms will be marshaled with red flag to warn you.
(PLEASE DO NOT CROSS WHITE LINE INTO ON COMING TRAFFIC).

COURSE DETAILS
Start by concrete area on the south side of the unclassified road (Wool-Eastholme) opposite S bend sign 2.5 miles east of Wool. Proceed west to Wool where turn left (CARE) onto B3071,
Continue south on B3071 to West Lulworth (6.0 miles) where very sharp left (GREAT CARE ON ADVERSE CAMBER) onto B3070 proceed through East Lulworth towards Wareham to turn left (10.3 miles) onto unclassified road
towards Wool. Continue past the start (11.1 miles) and repeat the circuit. After two laps again proceed past the start to Wool where turn left (CARE) as before onto (B3071) to finish (25.7 miles) opposite wooden-
post just before the road on the left signpost to Combe Keynes
In the interests of safety riders must not turn in main road after finishing but proceed to turn in the Combe -
Keynes road prior to retracing to event HQ
