CC Weymouth Club 25 10/07/12 p451/25

What no rain?

After two week of no racing, due to this most appalling of British Summers, we finally got some time trialling in last night!Steve Pink writes.... The club 25 has never attracted large numbers, partly because of the distance and partly down to how tough this 25 course is, and some may have stayed away due to the heavy showers during the day or some may just be on holiday. However 7 riders clearly had an itch to scratch and lined up at the start for a hard evenings ride, the cool temperatures and a stiff westerly breeze made sure of that!

Gary Dighton once again came across from Poole Wheelers as, in his own words, "this year you never know if you're going to get a ride in" due to the wettest summer many can remember. Gary put in another storming ride to take the win in 56:01, Greg Parker once again backed up the excellent form he has found with 57:45 and a first race in two seasons for former member Ian Gillam showed the hard work he has been putting in whilst away at university as he flew round in 58:21 Ian has also earned himself quite a tasty little job working in the F1 industry which he will be starting shortly, clearly he has been hitting the books as hard as he has hit the tarmac. Well done to Ian, it is always good to see that the rewards are there if you are willing to put the effort in!

All being well hopefully we will return to the P451 for some club 10 action next Tuesday evening,

See you all there?
