Harrison Fielding U16 put up a very impressive display of riding and was not out of the top 3 all day (3rd in the scratch sprint and 2 lap time trial, 2nd in the elimination and 1st in the points race) to give him 2nd place overall. Although all 4 riders rode in different age categories they showed great team spirit and were always encouraging each other. Next week is the second round of the series on their home track at Bournemouth, 91 riders are entered so it should be a good day of racing and the Poole Wheelers team will have 8 riders competing. Racing starts at 10.30 and will continue to mid-afternoon.
