The Chairman has clearly been praying to the weather Gods as the rain stayed away for a second week in a row. Only a small field of 8 turned up to test themselves at the most traditional of time trialling distances. Despite the dry conditions a strong and blustery southerly wind kept the times in check and Charlie Lawson did well to take the win and with it his first venture under the hour. Triathlete Chris Walker (Bustin Skin), fresh from finishing runner up at last weekend’s Portland triathlon, produced a solid time in his first TT, coming home 2nd and Bryce Riglar rounded out the top 3. Charlie and Bryce both getting some good practise in for this weekend’s Bournemouth & Dist WCA 25 on the P413/25 where the times should be considerably quicker.
Thankfully there were no spills either this week although we all return to the P459 next Tuesday to see if we can get round in one piece this time.
