Just 1 month after his first ever Duathlon, Richard Horton (Primera/Specialized) won the European Junior title in Horst aan de Maas, Holland. Racing over the sprint distance Horton pushed the reigning European Junior Triathlon Champion, Matthias Steinwandter into bronze. The former Bournemouth Jubilee road man is concentrating on multi-sport this year and used his power on the bike to set up the win. Horton is a talented runner and a recent winner of the weekly park run in Poole. (more to come)
