Darren Kenny and Barney Storey hit the medal trail on the first day of the Para-Cycling World Track Championships in Montichiarri, Italy. Kenny defended his 3KM Pursuit title in an all British affair that saw Rik Waddon pick up the silver before Kenny beat teammate, Shaun Mckeon to to the top spot on the podium. Tandem Pilot Barney Storey and Stoker Anthony Kappes had to settle for siver in the 1km time trial as fellow Brits, Neil Fachie & Craig Mclean took the Gold by 200ths second.
